My Story...so far
I have been a performer since I can remember. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, my parents exposed me to live performance at a young age. There are many home videos of me performing in the living room using gibberish as lyrics and imagining countless worlds in my mind. I was performing since the beginning.
I was lucky enough to be sent to a private school called the Austin Waldorf School. The school teaches kindergarden through 12th grade, though I only attended 1st-8th grade at Waldorf. Every year each grade puts on a class play. I was always excited for our 'play block' as they call it.
I gained interest in Musical Theatre around 8 or 9 years old, when I performed in my first musical ever — Suessical: The Musical! My Musical Theatre journey began at a community theatre where I made long lasting memories and friends, and solidified my passion for theatre.
I went to McCallum Fine Arts Academy for high school. My high school years brought the usual woes of life, but also showed me that I am blessed with an amazing support system. I began to train at ZACH Theatre in downtown Austin with their Elite Pre-Professional Company (PPC Elite). With PPC, my desire to tell impactfull stories was ignited into a burning flame.
After graduating high school in 2019, I committed to the University of Central Oklahoma. Covid-19 reared its ugly head during spring break of my freshman year. I took time off from schooling and moved back home until the spring of sophomore year. I began school again with a longing to finish my education and begin my life! I graduated in the spring of 2024 with a Bachelor's in Music.
I made the big cross-country move, u-haul and everything, to New York City in April of 2024. I hope to be telling stories for the rest of my life. I am absolutely thrilled to be pursuing what I love!
